No loss for me either this week, I'm afraid. I actually managed to go up to 208lbs. Bugger. I've been good with the exercise (a pilates class and two hard bike rides), but a bit too efficient with the re-fuelling. I will get some more healthy alternatives for next week, while keeping up with the exercise. Hopefully that helps.

I'm up! Arghhhh! And I was so good this week too. I was really down about it, but DH reminded me that this is not the time to give up--it's time to bring out the big guns (whatever those are?). And, even if I don't lose weight, I feel so much better when I'm eating healthy and that's worth it alone.

I have now officially broken my "Goal Weight" for this challenge. It was 140.

I am still very dedicated - I am right on track.

Exercise and eating are "spot on."

I am really going to do this!!!!

I tell you, posting those pictures made all the difference for me.

Way to go Lynette! You are inspiring...
but apparently not inspiring me enough to not gain weight on a vacation!

I'm up a bit this week to 167.4

    This is a new week!

Back down to 138 lbs this morning. Definitely happy to be heading in the right direction again.

Congrats on beating your goal weight, Lynette! I've got 3 more lbs to lose to make mine. If the weather cooperates, I bet I can do it.

Darn! The measly pound I took off last week was back on again this morning. Sigh. And tomorrow is a neighbor's 60th birthday party. And then Tuesday and Wednesday I have meetings in Oslo -- as in hotel breakfasts, restaurant dinners. This is gonna be a tough week. Double sigh. Still ... thanks for the help, everybody. Maybe with a nudge or two from being on the list I'll manage. Hotel breakfast: Eat the same as I would at home! Don't let the buffet tempt me. Restaurant dinner: A nice salad with vinaigrette dressing can be filling and tasty. And birthday party: Well, it's the weekend. I can put in a couple of long rides or hikes to compensate.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

At least back on track, the kids schedule and weather are killing my workout rides. Hopefully I'll get a good week in this week.

Congrats to everyone for doing so well.
