Glad to hear everyone is OK! I just finished looking at some pics from the bombs and wanted to share some of my thoughts...

I work for a worry-wart (OK...so he is older, has prostate cancer & artificial heart valves) but he is driving me crazy because everything I do he says how crazy I am!
ie...MTBiking (I could get hurt ) road riding (crazy drivers ) I had a nice juicy steak the other night ("aren't you worried about Mad Cow" he says) ...without boring everyone...the basics are that no matter what I do he points out the danger in it!!! I have asked to work from home a couple days a week but he is fighting it...even when I bring up the dangers of the roads and he doesn't REALLY need me here every day...that is OK! Is it cause it is me risking danger in order to benenfit HIM??? If I hurt myself on my bike I may be out of work for a day or two? I will save the rest of the vent for another thread...

If you ask me...at least I am enjoying every second I can instead of being overly cautious and locking myself up in my house hiding from the inevitable! I praise to people of London...getting on with thier lives! I know a fellow roadie who was in the car next to the one that blew up...she is physically ok...in fact she climbed thru a window to try to help people in the neigboring car...

Bless all those involved and their families...my heart goes out to all of you!!!
Just remember we are all vulnerable even if we don't live life to the fullest...
We might as well enjoy the ride!!!

as Corsair reminds us every time we read her signature...

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
