Dor-a, there are cages that attach with velcro...they're not expensive and can be easily attached and removed.
I use one. It's adequate and does the trick in hot weather when you must hydrate more.

I tried to do a search but couldn't find anything...I just got a new bike (Trek FX 7.3), it only has the bolts for one bottle cage. There's room for a second one, but there's no bolts. Does anyone have an idea of how to attach a bottle cage to my bike? Or are there any cages made without having to bolt them to the frame? I didn't want to use the cages that go on the seat because of the saddle bag or the ones that go on the handlebars. Yeah I'm picky.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

zip ties? sure they're ugly, but most people use them to attach cadence sensors, computer cables, etc.

That's the one I have. As long as the velcro is tight, it's just fine.

Hose clamps - I used them to put a bottle on my old Marin, as it also had no bolts on the seat tube.

I was going to say hose clamps too. They are **slightly** less ugly than zip ties (in my opinion, anyway). They work quite well too.
I've used the Minoura water bottle cage adapter and it works really well. The pics don't show it, but you can put it on the tube where your bottle normally goes also. That's what I did with my mixte.

You didn't say whether you also use a Camelbak, but it's something you might consider. If you had a Camelbak for water, then one water bottle--for electrolyte replacement drink, perhaps--might be enough.
