It's been... holy cow, two years

    So...

The crazy bacterial infection I had did not kill me, and did not leave me an amputee.

Now... to get my bike back on the road....

I am going to *gasp* do my own cleaning and tuneup, and try to get in a few rides while I'm still in Chicago. Illinois is nice and flat - but I haven't figured out where to go to ride, especially since I'm essentially starting from ground zero.

I have often wondered where you went. There is actually a house in my neighborhood with a "Gnosis" sign and periodically I think, "Maybe THEY know how she is...". Glad to hear you're okay.

Welcome back! Glad to hear your leg didn't fall off.

Getting back on the bike..... they say it's as easy as riding a bike.
(ok that was bad, I admit)

Are there bike trails around a park or on the lake front you could do?

I came to Chicago for school.... it's been a total bust, and I'll be coming home this winter.
