    Well congrats!

I haven't counted calories yet for any meal. But for the times when I felt my weight was tipping abit over...(only 2 months ago), then it's simply by "feel" and sense that I make minor adjustments to my diet. It's not completely rational or scientific at all. I just know I feel crappy if I have 2-3 consecutive days without any veggies/fruit.

Or now if I eat meals with too many high-glycemic foods in 1 sitting or wrong time of day, I feel crappy also.

What I do gauge is the amount of cycling/other exercise I do per day in relation to the range/type/amount food that I eat that same day.

I do read pkg. food labels if I am ie. buying premade spaghetti sauce or buying a type of noodle (fresh or dried),etc.
