YOu are atypical.. I lived in Ontario where summers are often 90-100% humidity before moving after 41+ yrs. I look to those former summers back in time...as a different sort of toughening up while cycling.

Best type of air quality for a city, is where we live now, fresher air... and temperatures during summer here are heavenly to me..just perfect. I like cycling around 18-22 C. with moderate humidity and no pouring rain.

I actually still have not yet fully acclimatized to pacific sea air totally...I always feel a slight cool edge in the air in non-sleeved garments. It's ok..I still want to adjust to high humidity when I visit elsewhere.

Enjoy late spring, summer and early fall the best here for cycling.

I like 55-70ish, clear, dry. Which in New England is about 2 days a year! I hate riding in heat and humidity, although I do. There are times I exercise indoors if the air quality gets bad in the summer, which happens a couple of times a year.
I don't ride in really cold weather, either. Below 40 is my cut off for road rides, unless it's really sunny out.

I love 15-22c, but hate wind. As long as it's just a breeze, I'm fine.

I'm with Matbike and HoosierGiant...the hotter the better. Now that it’s getting into the 90s here in Atlanta I need to acclimate to the higher temps. It usually takes me about a week and a half, but then I’m back to my usual self.
Its strange that I like the hot weather for cycling...I can't stand it for anyhting else.

The past few mornings here have been my ideal. Temp in the low 50s, heading out around 5:20am. Not a car in sight, birds singing, mist rising off the water at all the little ponds and swamps and lakes I pass. Somehow the air is just so much more fresh at dawn. What a fabulous way to start the day!

day after rain when air is clean and you can see for miles and miles. Temperature I like is between 45F (7C) and 75F (23C).

And for once in my life I would love to have steady 20MPH tail wind the whole ride. I like any time of the day.
