Yesterday I volunteered at bike parking for registration day on ALC. From across bike parking I saw a bike as distinctive as the amazing man who rides it, the custom red trike of our oldest rider, 80 year old Bert Shaw. I ran over and said "hi".
After a bike vs distracted spacey pedestrian crash Bert ditched the standard bike and just kept riding. He has a Cat.
I think this is his 5th 544 mile AIDS ride. He looks ageless!
