I'm doing the Tour De Temple this weekend sponsered by the Kiwanis club there. Weather is suppose to be nice, but I think it is going to get windy.

weather permitting i'll lead my saturday saunter... and perhaps ride earl y and after, depending on how stupid my stuffed head is being and how warm it is. I am so not a warm weather creature. I was crawling home today 'cause it's 88 degrees and i was on the verge of overheating. I much prefer 48 and even 28 or 8.
We'll do our ride on Sunday, with friends. I have a graduation party to go to at 11:00, so we will stay for an hour, eat, and then change into our bike clothes at our friends' who live very near the party. No idea where we will go yet. Tomorrow is going to be rainy on and off, so I will probably go to the gym and then do house stuff. There's supposed to be a break in the weather in the middle of the day, so maybe take the Jamis into town for lunch.
I'll be joining our local bike squad of hundreds...doing something ridiculous on Saturday night...It's Midnigh Ridazz...google it...especially if you are in Southern CAlifornia or you need ideas for your own crew. Laters.
well...long time lurker, first time poster. No organized ride this weekend. I am hoping to get in 50 miles tomorrow and 70 miles on Sunday in preparation for next week's Albuquerque Century. Did Santa Fe (my first century) on May 18th...so feeling fairly confident for next week (hope I just did not jinx myself).
Today is my last day of work for the next 8 weeksso no riding today. Tomorrow will mark the official start to my summer vacation and I will be riding! The club is offering a 50 mile ride in the morning and a 25 mile ride in the afternoon. My goal is to ride both, have a good time and spend some time with some good friends.

I wish we had an organized ride. SilverSon is doing a Road I cycling class that Silver (the new LCI) is assisting with....so, I guess that's organized...

NOt this weekend (as I'm working) but next weekend I'm doing the Rochester area Tour de Cure, a 100 miler. It was a fairly flat ride last year, and they said they changed the route to make it a little easier. I though it was pretty easy last year, with the exception of the wind!It will be the first organized ride of the year.
Probably none. My Nanny just moved to assisted living Thursday and her house must be sold ASAP to pay for it all. Dad is an only child so he, my mom, brother, husband and I have to clean it up to get on the market. Not fun and emotional. I look forward to ride reports to brighten my day. May sneak in a short ride or two this weekend but not likely.
