Doing a 50 mile ride for MS on Sunday. Second time my brother (who has MS) and I have done this one, but the first time for my cousin. Supposed to be overcast, which is ok. I'd rather that than baking in the sun.

Here in the southeast, we've already had a few event rides--before it started to heat up--high temps forecast in the 90s this weekend! So tomorrow, it'll be a fairly mundane Juju-Sally-Chris 45-mile out-and-back through Blackwater River State Forest. It's a nice tree-lined route, though, with plenty of shade from that killer sun.![]()

Thinking of doing the Bike 4 Sight here in PA. Not sure if I'm actually going to be able to get out of bed early enough though.

I'm riding the Tour de Cure here Sunday morning. It's looking like it'll be raining for it.
I will be doing a club ride tomorrow, may get about 20 miles in on that. Then Sunday I'll be trying out a possible commuting route, again about 20 miles total. I have not been riding as much as I should, and have an organized ride in two weeks, the Collin Classic, which will be 55 miles. May not seem like much to some of you, but it will top my current personal best of 51 miles in one day.

We've got a big birthday weekend here for my daughter (turning 11 tomorrow), and we're putting in a lawn and doing a bunch of other yard work, so don't know if I'll get a ride in this weekend. The most promising day looks to be Sunday morning, so maybe I'll squeek one out then.
Kristen!
Great, I just checked the forecast and now it's supposed to be sunny and 80. So much for not baking in the sun![]()
We'll just be doing a ride on our own...55 miles with some moderate climbing. This is likely the last "guilt free" one as by next weekend we will be homeowners again (with a ton of yard/house work to do).![]()
