Extra bike storage in the bathtub.

Really, how often does one actually USE the bathtub? Perfectly good bicycle storage space for 23 hr and 45 min of the day.

Sometimes I put mine in the kitchen. Just lean it against the table or a counter. If you don't have room for both, then get rid of the table.

Hang it from the ceiling. Mount it on the wall and call it art. Or, if you can bear to part with it, find it a loving home

    I love these responses.

With my old 80's bike that I couldn't bear to sell, I debated keeping it at my folks' place or donating it to the Africa project. I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who is just getting into cycling (i.e., getting sick of gas prices)

My 70's era bike I am restoring. Ebay and Sheldon Brown (snif) are my new best friends.

My boyfriend debated taking the fork, mounting it onto the wall, and turning it into one of those fancy wine bottle openers. Then the chain becomes jewelry, gears become belt buckles and picture frames...

-- gnat! (more bikes! need more bikes!)
