A double of you in this world?

my DH has a typical WASP look about him (white anglo saxon protestant) he's been told he looks like Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Woody Allen(I know, he's not a wasp), Gene Wilder... in my opinion, he doesn't look like any of those guys but it's fascinating that so many people see someone else in his face.


and for a story. My younger son has curly red hair. In highschool he wore it in an afro. For some reason he thought his dad wanted to cut it right before sophomore year started, so he went to school the first day with an afro. that night, at his request, I cut it and dyed it black. That week he met a girl who told him she'd seen a guy that looked IDENTICAL to him, only with a red afro.

When I googled my name once I found another Susan Jones who'd written educational materials on spelling, jes' like me only she wasn't. In the book warehouse I saw a cool book of comprehension questions to go with kids' mystery books - another thing I've done - and the auther was Sue Jones Married-name. Coincidences abound I kinda wanted to find that couple to see who I'd married when I wasn't looking...

people tell me all the time that I either look familiar, or that I look like someone they know. I think it's just that we jolly fat ladies all look alike...

it seems there might be a lot of me out there. I have had people tell me they know someone who looks just like me. I have yet to meet any of them. You would think with all my travels I would have met one of them by now!

I have been told I look like Ellen Degeneres and Lady Di. I guess it's the eyes.

I myself have yet to meet my doppelganger but apparently my husband has a lot of them. Among celebrities he has gotten that he looks like Lance Bass and the leader singer of Rascal Flatts. His features are very Polish. My sister went to school with a guy who reminded her eerily of my husband. They had the same name, looked alike, had a lot of the same mannerisms, sounded alike but he wore glasses. My husband SHOULD wear glasses but doesn't. I wish I had met the guy.

Apparently when I was a University student in Arizona I had a doppleganger on campus. I didn't understand why people were asking why I changed clothes, did I get something on the jeans and shirt I was wearing earlier ...? I never met my mirror self.
