If your surgery is laproscopy, you could be back on the bike fairly quickly. If they're doing the big incision, it might be a few weeks. My husband had the big cut, and was back to work in a week. The bad news is, you'll be laid up for a bit. The good news is, you'll feel alot better once that gb is out. And you'll be able to eat pretty much whatever you want without suffering afterwards!
