I will go to the Feed & Seed store today to get the Bag Balm. When we lived in Germany, I used to ride with European shorts (without pain) and their chamois pads were real leather. I am wondering if these pads were stiffer and did not fit up into the crotch area like the artificial chamois pads do. I am definitely going to put some of the Bag Balm onto the center of the chamois to cut down the wicking feature from the part that contacts the painful area. My shorts are made by Pearl Izumi and Speedo, so they weren't cheap, by any means. Thanks for the help.
