I just wanted to give an update. About 7 weeks ago Lorelei had a biopsy done on her leg to test for 2 fatal deseases. The test themselves we were told would take up to if not longer then 6 weeks to get back. Thank goodness they both came back negative. They are possible planning a liver biopsy now. But considering Lorelei has not gotten worse at this point and seems to be very slowly gaining her weight back as well as her hair is finally growing back, they might put off any further testing. At this point it seems she has been tested for everything under the sun.
Thank you all for support and please keep her in your thoughts. She still has a lot of healing to do. And at three years old she needs all the strength we can send her way.
Thank you again,
Brandi

Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the update. I am glad the tests were negative.
Wonderful news Brandi! What a trooper and how lucky to have such a thoughtful and caring aunt like you![]()

Hi, Brandi!
So glad to hear they ruled out more awful possibilities!! And that they'll give her a break from all that poking and prodding for a little while. YAY!
I do hope they figure out what's up. It might be a good time for a well-recommended alternative approach pretty soon.
Still sending butterflies to you, your niece and all of your family.
Hugs, too,

ps - nice to see you posting, Dar!
The butterflies are within you.

I forwarded the info you got for us. I think they are so in debt right now that can't afford to go see to many more Dr's. They have applied for help. We will see what happens.
My sister is going to bring Lorelei and her sister up here to visit me next month and to get out of the city. I can't wait to see them.
I get a whole 17 days off and a break from dh (who I love dearly) but looking forward to having me time for the first time in almost 2 years. Yeaaaaa!

Brandi,
Glad to hear the news, and that Lorelie is doing better. Hopefully she can get back to the business of just being a little girl.
