    Hey Kelowna,

I used to use my Tanita until I learned how to use fat calipers for my training class. I use the ones you can use on yourself, which are more accurate than the Tanitas. Tanitas vary on a bunch of different factors like time of day, did you just eat/drink, exercise, etc. The fat pinchers are pretty repeatable too. I actually bought the pair that I use on myself through Amazon, they are called Fat Track Gold and come with a Myotape which is really nice too.
You can't technically take self measurements with 'regular' fat calipers, and these have the correct formulas and they are digital so how can you beat 'dat!

137.5 today. Down 1 pound. I just got a commuter bike last week and have ridden to work 3 times so far. Guess, it must be helping!

The real test will be next weeks weigh in, as my cycle should be starting over the weekend.

    Good luck everyone!

I didn't go either up or down this week, stayed put at 206.6. But not going up is good enough for what has been a hard week.

Ugh. I am the SAME weight I was when I began => 171 lbs. This is frustrating.

    Smile Whew!

Down 1 more. So I'm at 177.5. Not bad since I took a week off from biking and AF has been here all week. I did do my longest ride last Sunday though. 32 miles!

    148. I'm back UP the 3 pounds I lost. I'm not surprised, I had a bad stress/eating last 3 days.

This morning, weather is breaking a bit so hopefully riding will keep picking up.

    The challenge really helps. Thanks!

    same old story

No weight loss again this week for mupedalpusher. With inactive thyroid and age, I have to nearly starve myself. Guess I'd better start starving!

Well, considering I ate as I pleased and drank a lot of wine this week, I'm pleased to say 169.0 this am. (That's the pizza from last night hanging on!).

But all thru the week I was at 168 and even below! So I have hope.. just gotta not eat and drink as I please! Especially on Thursday night before weighing in!
