Zen, I am 5'6 with a 30" inseam. I ended up with the small frame. I tried the medium and it felt just a bit to big but as soon as I tried the small it just felt right.

    Which Trek is that Zen?

    That's last year's 7.2.

This year's model is the girly powder blue which did not excite me.
The shop was having a close-out sale and when I saw the black with pink accents I said "SOLD!"
it's the next best thing to red

    It's 13" which probably equates to small. I have a 29" inseam.

Think of it as a flashback to the 70's prom. Break out your ruffles.

I can see where powder blue would turn you off...blech! I love the red and silver on my new bike, it just screams out RIDE ME!!!

One thing I did learn for the next time I go bike shopping (which won't be for a while) is too bring my own seat with me to use. Some of these bike seats on the bikes I tried felt like rocks. My butt was not happy!

Famous last words. When there's a bike in your bathtub, I'll believe you.

    powder blue trek

We bought the blue 7.2fx Trek for our daughter last month and she loves it. She's 11 and a bit more of a girly girl when it comes to colors. I like your red bike, very nice.
