I may have worded it wrong, but my attempt was to prevent people from jumping in on my post and starting a flame war.

Mickey, understood that your intentions were sincere and not inflammatory.

But, you've confirmed a fear that many of us had...our enjoyment at the risk of offending someone - even if we didn't intend to. I think that it underscores an important principle that this group stands for...and violates by perpetuating this thread.

Even if you aren't offended, others may have been. You are clearly articulate, educated, and know what you think. Others may not be so understanding and would easily take offense.

So, please accept my apology for even running the risk of being offensive. I disengaged from this thread some time ago...and I should have stayed disengaged. I enjoy hearing that young "Scout" is associated with a literary character that stands against injustice.

Here's an irony, if you practice at the hospital in Madisonville, I guarantee you that we know people in common...even though we're nearly an hour away.
