Silver,
I've got more info then you want to know.
I couldn't find any decent pics of my bike with the silver tape, but Kim's new Madone has silver, and here is mine when I was considering changing. Bad wrap is just loose over the black.
You must have bought the "soft touch" tape, I don't like it as well. The "shiny" is just the regular silver. I buy mine here:

I'm running blue tape now, but bought a couple silvers to have on hand (I'll either change before RAIN, or more likely right after (don't really like to play with the bike much before RAIN).
