    It's done

Ugh. Three stitches in each area will probably keep me off my bike. No riding for 10 days, at which time the stitches come out. Wouldn't have been so bad if she had used more lidocaine - I had to ask for additional shots when I felt the cutting.

But ladies - it isn't as bad as road rash!!

She said it looked "suspicious" with "irregular margins" so off to pathology they go.

Ouch! I wouldn't have any desire to be back on the saddle quickly with anything like that going on down there. Is there any other activity you enjoy that would be less painful in the meantime?

Hope the pathology results come back negative -- know it's scary not to know for sure. Keep us posted.

Oh yuck... I've had a lot of work stuff done down there. Hope the tests turn out ok. Maybe w/stitches, or post stitches she would let you do clean sitz baths for comfort? Some things it really helps. Other things the doc doesn't want that. Hope you heal soon. M

Well, so far not so good. I think I popped a stitch & am starting an infection. Hurts like crazy. See the doctor tomorrow. Ugh.

Oh gee, did I mention that I was recently certified as a spinning instructor? And there are great positions being filled in a private studio right now?

    Grrr....

If you think its infected phone him today if he has a holiday/weekend service. Most docs will phone in a presc. on a holiday even if he can't see you until tomorrow. Better to nip an infection in the bud!

Somehow docs don't understand the word "sensitive" for that "area." I had pre-cancer cells removed from my cervix by electrified loop of wire a few years ago. They put a bunch of shots, waited, and then said that it should be warm but to say something if there was pain. It was all warm, uh, warm, owOW OW OW!!! So they put in a few more shots.

Fingers crossed for your good results.
