    sprained ankle

It may only be a sprained ankle, but unless you're young and bounce back quickly, you may be pretty sore and tender for awhile. Be patient with yourself. Baby that ankle. Don't re-injure it. Do the ice and rest and let your body heal. And enjoy that new bike 'cause it's waiting for you!

Ouch! If it's a sprain, what snapped? Ligaments? Take care of that ankle, your bike and the rides will be there for you.

I hope you heal quickly as well. Why not go ahead and get your bike. It will give you something to look foward to doing once your ankle is all healed up.
Give it time though you don't want to make it worse.

RICE-rest, ice, compression, and elevation...take the time and heal properly. Buy your bike, and adore it, once you are healed, ride...it will be glad you waited

Take an epsom salt bath. Helps all kinds of things, including sprains.

Feel better soon! Your bike is waiting…

Hey, look at it this way- at least it didn't involve wrecking your new bike
Get better soon so we can do a canal ride sometime.
