Yay the sun's supposed to come out tomorrow!!!! AND SUNDAY!! I'm stoked. It's been raining all day today though, so I'll be road riding tomorrow and saying prayers to the dry trail gods for Sunday. How's the weather and trail conditions near you???

(This is southeastern PA/Philly by the way )

Hey the sun is out here in Kentucky, finally! Gosh, I can even see blue skies - a first since Monday. The weekend is looking good but a bit cool. Normal high temps should be in the mid-70's and tomorrow's high is suppose to be in the low 70's with a stiff breeze.

The "MadDogs" are hosting a weekend trip and I shall join in the fun regardless of the weather forecast. We will gather tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. and make our way from Louisville to Cave City - home of Mammoth Cave. We will spend the evening at Mammoth Cave Hotel and regroup bright and early Sunday for the return trip to Louisville.

This will be a first for me - back to back long rides (128 mile one way). I rode the return leg last year and absolutely loved it so thought "Hey, why not attempt both days this year?" I think I've lost my mind!

The weather forecast for southern Kentucky looks a bit better. Temps in the mid to upper 70's, stiff breeze and lots of sunshine.

The sun is coming out this weekend, but it's been raining a lot this week, so I'd be worried about tearing up the trails with my tires if they're muddy. Probably road biking for me this weekend.

Well... for the first time in months and months - or more maybe? - I am choosing NOT to race today.
I'll ride both days of course, but this morning I just don't "feel" like racing.

Let us know how that 12 hour race goes, BB... those enduro events are something I enjoy reading about, because I have no inclination to do them so will probably never experience them myself.

And Mak - enjoy being an honorary MadDog
