Have to share today's ride with you!

WOW! What a gorgeous afternoon here in the pacific northwest! When I got out of work at 2:30 the sun was shining, the sky was the bluest blue, and it was warm! I was thrilled. I got home around 3:00 was dressed and out the door on my bike at 3:23! I pedaled past Lake Tapps and dropped into Orting where I picked up the Orting Trail to South Prarie where I jumped onto country roads. I had very little traffic and magnificient views of Mount Rainier and the country side. Here are few pictures from today's ride.

    Where you ride looks amazing!
It always takes the focus of the pain when there is a nice view

Looks like good surfaces to ride too

What beautiful scenery. I lived in Olympia in the late 70's and I remember, when there was a really clear day, seeing Mt. Rainier. It looked so fake sitting so majestically above everything else. Thanks for bringing back that memory.

The views really does make the ride that much better. I rode alone yesterday so was able to stop and take the pictures. If my hubby were riding with me there might have been one maybe two shots. He hates to stop once he is in his pedaling zone! Me I love the scenery as much as the ride.

I hope everyone gets a good ride in today and this weekend! Tail winds and sunshine to all!

What beautiful scenery!! I am so envious. I'm glad you had a great ride and thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures.
I think I will take your pictures with me on my next ride. It's not quite that pretty around here. Pretty I guess in it's own way though. Certain times of the year around here are very pretty with the wildflowers and greenery everywhere.

Thanks everyone for your great compliments on my pictures. The scenery is half the pleasure of riding for me, that's for sure! A great motivation to get out and ride. Especially on those sunny gorgeous days!
