Are you guys kidding me!!!! I just can't believe that people stoop to that level!!!! I'm angry just reading this.
What is wrong with people, good lord!!!!!
I just wouldn't know what to do if someone did something like this to me. The most I have had is a group of motorcylist going by and one guy making fun by sticking his legs out and motioning like he was peddling. I know he was making fun of me, but I actually found it quite amusing and got a good laugh myself out of it. I can take a joke and fun being poked at me, but I'm afraid I would want to kick someone's butt if they pulled something like that and I came across them again. At the least I would take note of there license plate and call the police. That to me is assualt.

DH and I were riding on Saturday and we were crossing across a busy intersection. Traffic is supposed to yield on this part so, DH and I started crossing and some other cyclists were coming across from the other way. As we were crossing, a man came barrelling up to the intersection and stopped and then started gesturing at DH and I. DH turned around and stared him down. The man then proceeded to roll his window down and words were exchanged between him and my husband. I get very frustrated with drivers being so disrespectful to riders on the road. Ugh.
Ugh, this is just horrible. It frustrates me that those type of people don't have any common sense to share the road. It's already quite dangerous for us out there...seriously, what is the point of throwing things at other human beings? Grrrrr!!![]()
You know, Fujigirl, I think you've assumed that they think of us as human beings. I honestly think they don't think we are. I have no clue what they think we are, but it's apparently not somebody's sister, wife, mother, teacher, friend, or co-worker. So sad.
Tis better to wear out than to rust out....
WTF?!?!?! Gah.![]()
Aliens? From the planet Trek? Actually I'm from a Specialized planet.
I guess because most of my road rides have been organized MS training rides (I usually just ride the levee), I haven't had anything thrown at me. Since our rides are on sunday mornings, I am leary around churches, heaven forbid they're late to church, and DON'T get in the way when church gets out. Like Boy-in-a-Kilt, I have been offered a cold frosty beer on a particularily hot ride. It looked SO tasty. The Bubba, not so much.![]()
