Now I have a little crush on him, too. WHAT a cool guy. Thanks.

I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." The LAB's training video Enjoy the Ride! has a couple of shots from the DC bike paths showing a fellow motoring along the path with a prosthetic leg (An extract is here, the DVD contains both this short and amuch longer version: http://www.bikeleague.org/programs/e...ortversion.wmv) ...

And in other news, Walter Reed Army Hospital is using cycling as a form of therapy for amputee s and other disabled vets to regain fitness and pick up a useful skill.
