It's not all about # of pounds. You might have traded out some fat for muscle. You might be less overweight than you were. Even if you didn't lose an ounce of fat, your overall health has got to be better just because you can bike 2.5 miles twice daily.
Although initially I lost 20 or so pounds over the first year, I found that the fat can creep back on with just my 3.4 mile commute. I noticed it in February/March both winters, but longer and more rides in the summer burned the fat away without much effort in dieting.
