Lance's shop, Mellow Johnny's, opened today. We are sure when we are heading the 40 miles down to it but hopefully soon. It sounds on paper like it could be one of the coolest bike shops ever but I will have to see for myself.

Oh, please tell us all about it once you get there! I wanna visit Austin some day... and hitting the bike shop would be high on my list.

Nice pic of Lance and all on the cover of Momentum, but what I *really* want is that bike!!!! (what is it?)

Shoot, I just want every bike I see. What is it, "the first step to solving the problem is admitting you have a problem"? So, if I admit I have a bike-lust issue, does that mean I'll be able to have all the bikes I want, thereby solving my bike lust problem?

ok... for an ignorant Kiwi from DownUnder who didn't realise Lance was opening a shop (but am not at all surprised he is), can you tell me what he might stock?

I assume Treks will be a given... but what other brands...

Ones with brains and beauty like Cervelo perhaps?

I assume not beautiful brainless ones like De Rosa...

Anyone got any ideas?

Perfect timing, on Lance's part, AGAIN! With the gas prices, there are a number of bike shops reporting record sales of people getting back into it, after many years. Also, with the advent of spin classes, people that came in for clipless shoes, are returning for 'real' bikes, too! I would definitely go there, if I ever get to Austin!
