Turbo Trainer-Dumb *** question!

Hi all,
Just attempting to set up a turbo trainer (no manual btw
)
Can't seem to figure out how attatch the bike to the dam thing....
My bike has a quick release lever on the rear wheel and i'm not quite sure what to do with it when it comes to a turbo trainer!
I admit, i am an ***
Any tips on this would be great!

You have switched the skewer of your back wheel?
