    Dear Velogirl/Lorri,

Please consider teleporting to Seattle for a weekend. I would love to take your Bike Skills 101 class.

    Thank you.

Aw, thanks! We should chat about Seattle. It's tough to travel and make it financially feasible for me or the participants, but if we have enough interest it might work.

Now Buffalo, that's another story! I'm actually from upstate NY (Elmira, Ithaca, Syracuse) and I've ridden in that neck of the woods.

I went to college in Buffalo and married a native. I spent many christmases snowed in there!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Born in Buffalo, grew up in Albany, went to Cornell, been in Seattle since '83.

Lorri, PM me sometime and let me know how many people you'd need, costs, etc. Happy to look into the possibility.

    Dear DH's new bosses,

The least you could do is give us a little more notice and not ruin a weekend. Telling him at 4:30 on Friday that he must be at the airport at 6:15 a.m. Monday is NOT FUN. Not only are all our plans changed for the weekend, but we do not know how long it will be until we see one another again. "At least a month and then transferred somewhere else" does not tell us much.

    You suck.

    Dear university residence,

Thanks for the good times. I never thought I'd be missing my tiny alcove room, but come tomorrow morning when I'm moving out and once my room is bare I think everyone is going to be bawling. Thanks for introducing me to the coolest people I've ever met, and for being able to handle our combined demerits from the last two semesters (seriously, twice as many as all three UC residences combined from last year?). It's been fun, and we'll make sure to pay our respects every time we pass by next year.

    -No long a frosh
