    Lugged steel beauty!

Here's Cedar, my lovely new/old Giant RS940! She's been to the "spa" at Robinson Wheelworks, and emerged from her crysalis with spiffy new Nitto All-Rounder bars, a basket, gorgeous brass bell, laced grips, new brake levers and cables, and BMX pedals. (now I have 2 1/2 road bikes with BMX pedals, yummy!) Next up: a Brooks B67... and maybe a powdercoat.

(and check out that nice Bridgestone in the background. Hey, RogueDog...)

Here's a close-up with a view of Bars, Bell, Basket, Badge, and BMX.
We sprinkled her with champagne and toasted her arrival with bubbly and chocolate. Hooray!

i found the bike being sold used for $80 and said to myself "self" I said "that looks just Knotted's size". So I got it.

    Turns out it's circa 1987

Chris at Robinson added Panaracer Pasela tires, Tectro brake levers. We took her on a short inaugural ride on the Alameda Creek trail today, sweet! And it's amazingly light. Knotted frolicked through the gravel parts of the trail bonding with the bike

Wow! She cleans up so nicely. I'm digging the handled basket. I can just picture the two of you strolling arm-in-arm through the farmers market with Knot's basket hanging from the crook of her free arm. I hope y'all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Very nice! The leather grips and brass bell make a very classy combo.

Very nice! I like the silver color and the headbadge!

I confess I'm having a hard time keeping all your bikes straight at this point.

    And.... FOR SALE!!!!

    Make an offer.

Approximately size 52-53 cm, road-sport geometry of the 1980's (pretty much what we call "touring" geometry now). Complete refurbished rebuild, with fresh and lovely paint. Ridden 3 or 4 times since rebuild.

Brooks B68 included IF you want it. (if not, I'm keeping the saddle)

Love the bike, but need the money.

Purchased for $80, about $750 in work and paint. All work done through Robinson Wheelworks.

Frame is perfect in every way. Components are original, but all restored. Stem has cosmetic scratches. Bars, grips, and brake levers are new. Rims are mis-matched, and tires are 25mm front and 23 mm rear.

Bike sold as-is. Location: SF, California. You pay shipping.

    PM me.

ETA: also for sale, and for a whole sh*tload more $$, is my gold Waterford (52-53cm) X-12, as seen in my avatar. (This bike was not damaged nor even dampened in the flood, it was safely in my kitchen during all the excitement.) Location: Seattle, Washington. You pay shipping and you better be ready to pay a lot, because this beauty should be treated like a queen during shipment.

Sorry to hear about the flood, and good luck on selling your bikes! It is probably a good thing that the Waterford is too large for me - shipping it would probably cost more than the fork for my Gunnar!

I've taken the Waterford off the market. I cannot bear to part with her...

But the candy-apple red Giant is still for sale.
