    News from the lbs....

Hey all, I haven't checked in re: the bike shop in awhile, so I figured I'd give you the latest news.
I'm a GIANT dealer now!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
I can't tell you how much I LOVE this company! I'm so stoked to be working with them, and I LOVE their womens line. They put so much into their womens line it's unbelieveable. As some of you may know they even have a womens only website- Giantforwomen.com.
My rep is a woman (first one I've met in this industry) and she's so cool to work with. We have all kinds of plans! Womens demo days, womens only tri's, in store clinics etc.
I'll keep all of you zonie TE'rs posted so you can come out and join us.
Oh- and a little funny... She lurks here, so she knew ALL about the shop from my posts! lol
    So HELLO CINDY!!!!
I was off today, but the boys sold their first Giant, and it was a womens comfort bike.
We have been pretty busy, tho last week was kind of a dud. But our website is coming along. I even have a discussion board on it. I need to get the web guy to give me admin rights so I can add/edit it tho.
As anything, it's a work in progress.
Check it out anyway at www.estrellamountaincyclery.com
Speaking of work in progress, running hubby and I were at the shop til midnight Sat. night moving things around. I'm much happier with it, and my feng shui expert approved. I've been wanting to make it more appealing to the female eye, and I think I've done that.
    Well, I think that's it.
Oh, wait. No, I'm working on shop logo jerseys and run singlets. We are going with champion systems, so I'm going to submit my deposit tomorrow and get the ball rolling. Designing them has been the hard part. I'm not that artistic that way. I know I want my logo on them, but beyond that I'm lost.

    Well, off to bed!
    Ciao for now

Awesome to hear and see it all going so well

Saving you to my favourites, and to my del.icio.us account too

Such a good feel-good story... and it just keeps going and going...

We have several Giants in our stable... including my TT specific bike - a Giant TCR2

Good choice of bikes to land for your dealership. Congrats

Congrats on your new website. You are also on my fav list. If I ever make it to the Phoenix area I definately want to come and meet you and see your shop!

I think that is cool that you have Giant's now. Even more cool that they have their own website. I will have to check it out, as I am still looking for a DS mtn bike.

    Congrats,
    Ellen

    Thanks all...
And YES I know there are typo's on the site. Like I said, I don't have admin rights yet.
I also want to change the video. That's just one the web guy threw on there. I may make one of local rides and add it to the site.
A work in progress for sure, but a LOT better than it was.

    ciao!

ETA- Yes CC, I have my own feng shui expert. He happens to be a good friend. ; )

i'm glad you are doing so well. It's nice to hear such enthusiasm from a new small private store owner.

    good luck with the giants.

for six tanks of gas you could have bought a bike.
