I too read about and watched the news reports on this story. It is very sad and I do feel for the friends and family of the gentleman.

When it comes to dying though I don't know that many of us, especially the adventurous type think of "falling asleep" one night in a cozy bed sometime in our upper 80's.

There's something I find more appealing about dying doing what I love even if the last moments are painful. Call me crazy.

I think this man did just that.

Without risk there is no adventure.
