I actually had a bad experience with the Soleil too, it comes in such pretty colors and I bought a pack for gym, travel etc (normally I don't use disposable razors). For some reason a just kept cutting myself with them, the usual places like knees and ankles, but I also sliced off a strip over my shin bone eeeouch. I threw them all away.

The Venus disposable is actually pretty good (not quite as good as the regular one, but pretty good) -- if I were going to buy disposables for some reason (every once in a while I do...), that's probably what I'd get.
