Thom could be our directeur sportif. Since we don't have headphones he could just yell instructions to us. And there's always the water bottle pass.

A Morgan Territory ride could start at Arbolado or somewhere on the South Gate side (in which case we'd do South Gate while still cool, then go do MT).

A Grizzly ride would start in Orinda. And our old favorite could start on either side...

Just so you know, the one handed-wonder has a tendency to honk the horn inadvertently.

I'm leaning towards MT and Diablo. from the South.

Although I've never done the Grizzly ride. Shall we flip a coin?

    Where's the better food?

I really don't care. You girls decide. Jo has more and more being heaped on her plate so she said it is unlikely she'll make it.

On the other hand, I might say "the hell with 'em all" and join you anyhow.
Just tell me where you're meeting and maybe I'll show - everything you're bandying about looks fine by me. If I end up going I'll PM ya's & call V. on her cell.

I've never done this particular Grizzly course either - I was hoping to "explore" last weekend but worked instead .

I have maps! Not that they're any help at all, but I'm playing with Streets & Trips, so humor me.

    Here's Morgan Territory-Diablo (ignore numbers):

    and here's Grizzly:

Very pretty blue line! None of this means anything to me.

Just tell me when and where.

Thom says you should pick Kim. He'll SAG us no matter where. It's making me lazy, not having to carry everything. Think of how many Red Bulls we can have!

Just remember - he can be fined for allowing you to hold the water bottle too long and pick up speed from him! I believe the current rate is 50 swiss francs!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Uh-huh, no way, no how! The one-handed wonder needs to keep his hand on the wheel.

    So, are we agreed?

8:30 am at the Train Museum?

Jo, please ditch work for the morning. If both Kim and V are on caffeine . . . .on the other hand, you like caffeinated Gu right? Wonder what it takes to bribe Thom into rationing out the drugs.

Bubba can be a super chick! Isn't there a jersey with a chicken on it?

Any requests for Farmers' Market type items for the cooler?
