I have to trim my eyebrows...

Did he ever voice complaints about the chamois in his shorts not reaching up high enough in the front to protect his manhood from cold wind in the wintertime? My training buddy apparently has "length" issues, and wears windproof briefs in the winter to keep from freezing things off because the chamois in his shorts stops "short"

He gets team kit stuff for next to nothing, so I probably wouldn't be able to convince him to spend the $$ on some fabulous wool when he can just stick to his beloved wind briefs and regular spandex
Funny conversation from a base mile ride with some friends back in December:
Ryan (mr. windbrief, talking to his teammate next to him): "Jeez, I think I need some type of insulated shorts for the cold weather. Mark, have you noticed how short the chamois is in these?"
Mark (teammate, wearing same style shorts): "What? Is there something wrong with them?"
Ryan: "The chamois doesn't come up high enough, I think the end of my **** is going to freeze off !"
Mark: Dude, I'm 5'4" and Asian... I don't have problems like that...
I like hairy men and electric shavers. Using an electric shaver takes a while to get the swing of you have to do it a few times before you learn how to hold it so that it best "gets" the hair. Try not pressing down on it when you shave.
He never mentioned it.
However, this whole concept isn't as stupid as it sounds.
One of my buddies in Officer's Basic Course called his soon-to-be commander when he found out he'd been assigned to the 10th Mountain in Fort Drum. Over the course of the conversation, it came out that it was common practice for the guys to put socks over their genitals to keep them from freezing during the early morning PT sessions during the Upstate NY winters.

You can still shave with the recommendations that were given, but I'd also use Proactive's Body Lotion. It's awesome for razor burn or some of the concerns you have!

Hmm, I haven't noticed that wool is any more windproof than any other fiber. It's all in how each fiber is knitted and the resulting material.
I've got wool jerseys that I can freeze my tookas off in just as easily as the equivalent weight and density Lycra.

How do you feel about mushrooms?
Are you never more than two hours away from your next meal?
Do you have a serious collection of things that don't really serve any purpose but you don't want to throw away (mathoms)?
If you answered yes to all of those, you are probably a hobbit, albeit a very tall hobbit.

Mushrooms are da bomb. And I can answer "Yes" to all of the others and I have hairy toes(at least the big ones and the ones next to those) too. At least you're not alone.![]()

imdeanna- no need to apologize, looking back at it, I would have probably done the same thing as you did.
Like I said, Ihave the norelco body groomer. It does a decent job, but doesn't get too close on the legs, but they look hairless and I don't get any irritation from it. I haven't shaved with a razor recently, but when I did, I got horrible razor burn for a week or two. That was with shaving gel and a brand new razor. Waxing is out of the question for me because it is too pricey. I figured I could buy an epilator for the price of one waxing session, but I hear many mixed reviews about the epilator.
For now, I am going to try the body groomer, an electric shaver, and see if I am not holding it right to see if it will cut closer. Then next week I will try to shave one leg to see if any irritation occurs. I don't fear the pain of the epilators, but I hear alot of people complaining about ingrown hairs, which I think would occur with waxing as well.
