    thread titles free verse

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I found it cool that when I went to check the Open Topics forum, the first 3 thread titles made a sort of haiku thing (without the correct number of syllables though):

This morning I woke up to....
    weekend in Vancouver
    Hairless legs

I bet if you go way back you could find some poetic doozies of 3 thread titles that happen to be right next to each other. Anyone?....

    how horrible!
    ... Good drivers...

    From "Open Topic":
(This one is called "lament of the bored telecommuter"):

this breaks the rule of three --
but, it's from the triathlon forum and it's called, "the path of the Buddha":

    I'm alive!!!
    Frustrated...

(sorry, after I finish my paper on post-Newt congressional partisanship I have to write about Hobbes... for the Hobbes class, we just read King Lear... I can't get the ideas of conflict, isolation, suffering out of my head !).

Ok... and having not been to Vancouver, can't say if this rings true at all, but:

    Weekend in Vancouver...
    Dear so & so:
is it "wrong" to buy the same shoe in three different colors?

Oh yeah! Vancouver has really cool shoe stores, like John Fluevog's and Gravity Pope, with wonderful creations that I'd buy in every colour were they not $300 a pop!

I love your poetry ladies, keep it coming! You really have a sense for the verses.
