I have lots of days like that. Some of it is recovery. Some of it is just having a life.We didn't cycle today, but we did get the doors on our IKEA Pax wardrobes, and put some of the baskets in. The dressing room is coming together. Tomorrow night is Time Trial, then we can put the clothes rods in one of the Pax cabinets. Life goes on. Be nice to yourself.

I used to do 240km/wk...now i'm only doing 130km/wk just because i want to be nice to my knee and body plus be sensible for now...
I did take a day off in January so that I wouldn't be in danger of obsessing about getting in a full year of riding every day, and there were days at the conference... but basically riding isn't a "thing I have to do" - it's part of living and breathing.
