Is part of the ride on a nice path like that? surely not the whole ride ?!
Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Pretty scenery, though!

I'm thinking I might do this Shenandoah Valley ride, since I need to train for Tour de Nebraska (300 miles over 5 days) a couple of weeks later. And Jane, I think I'm going to come down for Tour de Madison also. One of our contractors said she'd like to ride it, but her husband has been ill so he can't do it with her.

The only problem is that I hate to drive, so venturing into Virginia twice might be more than I can take!

Oh DB - you have to watch out for us Virginians - if you get too deep into the state, we might just suck you in and you'll never want to leave!

I think I am going to sign up for the Shenandoah Valley Heritage Ride on June 1. But, Zen, I'm not sure it makes sense to drive an hour up to Frederick and then over to Winchester, when it's an hour and a half if I go directly. Are you going to do the ride?

What about Tour de Madison? Anybody signed up for that?

    I am! I am! (but then, I live here~)

I hope LOTS of you come to the TdM - it's fun and awesome and you need to have a post-ride meal at the Pig 'n Steak.....(I'm not kidding)

Zen - did you see my email about your personal page? Do you need more help? Let me know!

I don't think I'm going to make the trek for TdM after all. My contractor that I was going to ride with isn't going to do the ride because her husband still isn't well enough to do it, and she doesn't want to make him feel worse. I don't want to drive that far, ride, and then drive back the same day. And if I need a third excuse, there's no way this vegan would eat at the Pig 'n Steak!
