I'm looking forward to your reviews on the sweater. I've been eyeing it for a while now. It looks like the same cut as a full zip shak but without the pocket.
Hey GLC, my mom loves the jacket! She did mention it's a bit itchy but if it doesn't fit me she'll wear it.
Any IBEX items that don't have the scratchy feeling to them?
None of my ibex items are scratchy, but the silkiest smoothest ones are my kates and polo Ts. Shaks are soft, so are the norgie crews. The only piece that comes close to being scratchy is my ribbie, and that's cuz the ribs are rough feeling, but not really scratchy.
Ibex has a new full zip on their website called the 405. It is made of "milled wool". Does anyone know what this is? Would it be itchy?
Why to they always seem to announce sales a couple of days AFTER I place my orders?? I might just have to buy one of these anyway...I am loving that bright red!
And no, I don't know what milled wool is... The garment looks heavier weight in the pictures than what they are describing, so I'm really curious as to what this fabrication feels like.

Some items are softer than others. I was a bit surprised that my boucle items felt a bit 'scratchy' at first, but after one wearing, I stopped noticing it. I've foung that the softest Ibex stuff to be the 17.5 items (Kates, t's, underlayers...etc).
I only tried on the jacket once, and I never wore it, so I can't really offer any opinions of it. My guess is that after a wearing or two, she won't notice it at all. Did she find it itchy when worn over another layer...or did it just feel a little itchy on her hands?
