I got rained on during my bike/run brick. Does that count?

    TPBM prefers a Mac
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Yes that counts! And I love Macs. But I am out of order so I won't add a line.

OT - but YES! Howl is very good, but it is his last film and he was getting tired of the whole business and very ready to retire. Personally I think Princess Mononoke is his best. The animation is breathtaking and the story line is compelling. It is NOT animation for children - its actually quite graphically violent in places (though I can't recall him ever even going near sex.... though there tends to be a boy/girl interest in all the films, all of the relationships in his films are pretty innocent). I definintely put Mononoke in in my top 10 all time movies.
Other Miyazaki films to check out - Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Naussica - Valley of the Winds, Porco Rosso My Neighbor Totoro (this one is very much a children's film - its quite sweet)

Does just renting an old farmhouse count? They do farm the land around me.

(And, I did grow up spending a LOT of time on the farm...changing irrigation pipes, feeding calves, watching out for the bull, bucking hay bales, feeding chickens, pigs, etc.)

    TPBM knows how to rope.

Maybe...not sure what gypsie jazz music is, but I'll try just about anything once!

TPBM is a tad sore from yesterday's ride(s). I spent more time in the saddle yesterday than i have since I was 10 years old (and that's not saying much since I'm such a newbie lol). But it was FUN!

True, I am a bit sore, but it's from the incredible small amount of running I did on the treadmill yesterday, coupled with a sprint up the hill on my 30 lb. hybrid bike to avoid getting rained on.

TPBM is going to a Seder next weekend.

    Resurrection :)

What? No one else likes to listen to the froggies at night? What happened to snap? We have frogs singing away on both sides of the house at night.

    TPBM uses Colgate teethpaste.

For Eden -- we loved Castle in the Sky and just bought Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. We may be complete converts now. We'll keep our eyes open from Princess Mononoke.

True and totally reveling in it. Although I've already started planning out my next school year, did our prep schedule and have read a professional book on racism.

    TPBM has read Nostromo.

Nope, but I did read a couple of Tom Clancy novels.

TPBM bought a new pair of shoes.
