    Back to regularly scheduled programming.

It's been a long and busy (and odd) week but it ended on a good note. I'm pooped and emotionally spent but I got 15 paintings finished and delivered to Memphis for the opening. I had my solo show last night and we had a good turnout and I sold 4 pieces. I'm still on a high and want to do something, but it's cold, windy and overcast again. At least we don't have storms.

Memphis had good weather and people were ready to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

I finally feel free! Now I can indulge in more Peet's and a mtb ride--in that order. Anyone else recovering from a strange week?

    Congratulations!!

Wow, I don't know if I could be creative "on demand" like that. You must have some kinda talent.

Today was the culmination of a long week of getting ready for youth baseball Opening Day and it went off without a hitch. The wind has been hellacious all day today, and I've been out in it. But it's beautifully sunny. I'm beat, too.

I hope you got to ride.

That's great. What are your paintings of? oil or acrylic? Just curious.

LOL! It comes at a price--tons of Peet's coffee and empty chocolate wrappers. You can view my work here: www.cathyburge.com

Tuckervill, haven't been out for a ride yet. Too lazy today.

Just for fun, I did this study in oil and presented it to the couple who were in this photograph. This moment was captured by an AP photographer on the Texas coast as a hurricane was coming to shore. Their photograph was titled Radar Doppler Love.

    They are beautiful.

Wish I could see them "life size!"
