I love that photo, Oakleaf! I don't know why - it has beautiful subdued colours, but I think it's the way nature is just quietly taking it all back that appeals to me. Like "you people can run around here in a hurry and be masters of the universe all you like, but in a hundred years you'll all be dead and the trees will still be growing."

Here's what my landscaper said: "Some are at a theme park called Bonfante Gardens (now Gilroy Gardens) in California. Some are in Israel. Many are in Australia. The website for the Australia ones is Pooktre."

I think the first one might be our "Bike-eating tree" here in the Seattle area. (Bainbridge Island? Whidbey Island? Vashon Island? on some island around here) Quilfred uses the Bike-eating Tree as her avatar, she knows where it is.
