It's a dream of mine to cycle the Hill Country.

    Shiner Gasp sound like fun.

    Enjoy!

LOL, I did an MS-150 ride in the Hill Country about 15 years ago. It was brutal (for me, anyway ). I remember that some hills were so steep that when I looked ahead, the road appeared to be an absolutely vertical stretch of asphalt for as far as I could see.

I'm too out of shape to do the GASP this year, but I'll be there next year!

leendat...if you can cycle 360 you are certainly not in poor shape! I have been cycling for about 8months and have yet to tackle the fearsome 360.

I would strongly recommend becoming a member of the Austin Cycling Association (www.austincycling.org) they have wonderful rides of all distances that would be great training. There are at least 2 rides per weekend.
