    no, no, no! Though I love the look of carbon and do have a carbon fork and seatpost, my proclivity for those unplanned dismounts make me leary of using the carbon cages.

    As Newfsmith can attest, when my bike goes down, the cages hit first due to their "behind the saddle" mount. It's a weight/balance/velocity thing

    The nylon/plastic cages bounce nicely and are reasonably priced AND they come in several colors (I have black though).

    Me, also, but I'm not enough of a weight-weenie to buy carbon cages. Maybe someday when I'm a sponsored racer.
