Question What's the Weather in Seattle This Morning?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Hey Seattle-ites...right in Seattle...any of you online who could tell me what the weather looks like right now?

    I know the forecast.

Just curious to know what it is doing and looking like. Considering my options today. It is 9:25 am....any early feedback appreciated!

    Thanks!

Looking sunny and beautiful at my house, a few misty gray clouds, but they're burning off over here at Chez Knot.

    Good day to RIDE! Whooooo-hoo!

Burk-Gilman trail for me after church, rain or shine!

Weather man lied as far as I can see - sunny with some high overcast right now in the heart o' Seattle. And I had my 3.5 hour ride yesterday..... at least it did stay dry.

You know what, i think i might throw the bike in the car and come over to do the whole BGT today. I haven't ridden it forever, and I'm out of shape, so thinking maybe a FLAT 60 miles at an easy pace is just the ticket. I gotta get outta Dodge or go nuts.

Knott, I am going to PM you.

Brisk wind (about 9-10 mph) from SSE. Partly cloudy.

Clear weather with that wind this time of year means bring your rain gear. You won't need it immediately, but that will change.

    just took my dog out.

Still sunny, but juicy-looking clouds coming up from the south and it's getting chilly.

I'm gonna ride anyway, cuz otherwise I will lose my mind.

Clouding up a bit more and getting breezy, but no rain yet. I've only got an hour of easy spinning to do today, and I think I'll probably do it on the trainer.

    Weather in Issaquah

47 degrees, light breeze, sorta mostly cloudy ish, but no rain, drizzle, showers, or sprinkles. I wish spring would REALLY get here!

just got back from a brisk 36 mile ride with DH & some of our Redmond Cycling club friends. They were a lot brisker than me.
We got 10 raindrops. then it stopped, and now the sun is coming out again

Still sunny here in the north end.

Putting up a no-notice bike ride! 3:00. Log Boom. Be there, or be home warm and dry!

Fabulous sunny ride along north Lake Washington! (Burke-Gilman trail)

Perfect riding weather, not too hot, not too cool, sunny with exciting clouds in the sky.

Well, Knot, I cannot agree with your description of the weather today, but more power to you...you are in the right climate.

I got in 7 miles from Marymoor in the 20's with a nice tailwind. Got a flat, used my only tube, and discovered I've let my patch kit get iffy. So, with an awful attitude, I turned around and time trialed into the wind back to the park, cursing the cold, the wind, the glass, the dogs, the kids, their parents, and every other thing I could think of. Mean as a snake today.

But, since I was over there, I decided to check out Redmond Cycle. Never been in before. Had a wonderful conversation with a guy there named Chris, and he broke a string of crappy experiences with idiotic comments from men in large bike shops. I really appreciated that guy today, and I will definitely go back. Also, he let me test an Orbea Diva with full Campy Record.

that'd improve my mood in a heartbeat!

Glad that you had that experience...also, I'm not sure where you live, but it's been my experience that it's usually wetter weather if I start at Marymoor or East of the city. A couple of times, I've even met friends in the parking lot there, started to get ready to ride, kept looking at the darkening sky, and we decided to relocate our start to Gas Works Park and stay to the west of the lake for a dry, sunny ride...This is Seattle, so of course it doesn't happen every time - besides, you wouldn't have met Chris or the Diva if you hadn't been there, right?!
