Finally!!!

Ok so I'm excited, and have to share. I finally got my new Cannondale out on the road for a good ride (first one)....25 miles of pure unadulerated HEAVEN on earth!!! I am in love with this bike. I live in a very hilly area, and even tackled the hills and didn't die. That's a plus for sure! Anyhoo, the bike bug has bit HARD. Can't wait to go out again! I do believe I shall be living on this bike until the fall rains come back!

I live in a hilly area too, and if nothing else they make me stronger. At least thats what I tell myself. LOL

Thanks! Our weather has been so bad, I haven't been able to really get a good ride in yet. Frustrating! More bad weather coming up for this week, but next weekend maybe I'll be able to get back outside. I need to get set up for cold/wet riding, I think.

What model/size Cannondale did you get? I always like to see what people of different heights/sizes are riding

I got a Synapse Carbon 6 triple size 47cm. Was kind of hard to find a bike that fit and felt good...I'm 5'2" (almost), and live in a smallish town...only one reputable bike shop in town. But they're fantastic, and patient, and willing to have you try whatever you want for as long as you need. Anyway, this is my first road bike. I"ve wanted one for years and years, but never had the funds or the guts to get one. So, now I have both funds and guts, and I'm shoving my big bottom in Lyrca and wheeling myself about, and I'm having so much fun! I feel like I'm 10 again lol. Who knew??
