Good news, first: sister is off prednisone and her kidneys appear to be functioning.
Not good news on the uncle. The only thing I know to pray there is "God's will be done," and comfort for the family. It really seems we're beyond the point where any earthly outcome will be happy.

Uncle passed away this afternoon.
I've only just had that news by text message. I can't imagine what the scene must be like there.
