I've been pretty good the past couple of months, my wool buying has really slowed down. I have a big merino stash at this point though, so it's not like I'm 'suffering' or anything.

Hey, how do you woolweenies store your wool in the summer? I want to protect mine.

Our Shaks were perfect for the weather we had while traveling for the wedding. After we got home, dear hubby couldn't find his. Somehow it got over in the dirty clothes bag. He was almost in a panic!

I live in the PNW, so I wear my wool in the summer too....

But next time I go to a variety store or to Ikea I will buy bits of cedar that go in the drawers. I don't want the mites chewing holes in my lovely Ibex!

I have told myself quite firmly that I am not allowed to buy ANY more jackets.

    The jacket purchasing must stop!

(but that's all I'm limiting at this time...)

Oh yeah, sure....easy to say -probably right after you've bought yet ANOTHER jacket!

'Storing'??....hmmm. Here in the northeast we'll likely only have about 6-8 weeks where most of my wool will be actually too hot. Probably not worth the trouble of 'storing' it elsewhere. I'll mostly just be digging within the motherlode for the shorter/lighter stuff for the summer.

I have the Pingo too...and I LOVE it. It's another of those multi-purpose jackets. Great on the bike, great walking the dog, great wearing to work...etc.

DH and I got sucked in at the Icebreaker store on Saturday. We both walked around drooling over things before looking at price tags. Of course the new spring stuff was super pricey...so that cooled us off a bit. Then the super helpful sales dude just HAD to point out that all winter was 50% off! We spent almost $200! I ended up with a great T, a camisole, a pair of longjohn bottoms and an adorable striped hat that I've worn daily since then! (Seriously...when is spring supposed to come??) DH got gloves, a hat and socks.

I'm now lusting after the zip boucle on sale at Ibex. I wear my carrie hoodies almost daily, and that boucle top looks to be the same material but without the hood (and in a different color). Someone stop me!
