Listening to anything requiring earbuds is a very bad idea. Think about drivers - they too are listening to music, talking on the phone, rehearsing the conversation they'll have with the boss, etc. and they AREN'T looking for you! If you are distracted or cannot hear the telltale sign of a driver about to be stupid, you lose. Simple as that.
