It's, um, late. 3:something in the morning. I've just gotten home from a brutally long day--I left my apartment at 7:00 this morning. Ugh.

Anyway, as of now, I'm still planning on being there. But, if I fail to show up, it's not because I didn't want to...it's because I wasn't able to peel myself out of bed.

Hey, Knot, what's it like out there?
Here it's damp and cool, no snow at all. I woke up with itchy eyes and a headache. I'm thinking I might be getting a cold. If so i'm not coming (and Raleighdon baked a cake!)

    No snow right now.

Clear skies and chirping happy birds, so I'm hoping it warms up in a hurry so we can use my patio.

No yoga mats needed as: 1. I forgot to bring home the poses info. 2. there just isn't room in my apartment for everything. 3. I don't remember the poses anyway.

(I was so panicked about the snow and SKnot out without his jacket and not answering his cell and going to the comic/card store on a different bus and not answering his cell phone and taking care of someone's cats while they're gone and not answering his cell phone.... that I completely forgot them at work.)

Does anyone know about the alleycat race at 3:27 pm? I think Mimi mentioned it, and we tried to schedule things so folks could go to it. But Mimi, if you stay home, can you send a link or something so we can find it?

oh brother! that is tough. I received an email at work what, 2 months ago? Since it's an alleycat race, it's not published anywhere!
I checked Bikeworks website, and they don't mention it...

    ah, i love the internet

Dashap, over at 327 Words, is putting together the Taco Truck Time Trial. On March 29 at 3:27, the "checkpoint-themed alleycat-style bike race" starts at 20/20 Cycle, 2020 Union St.

Riders will leave in staggered starts, and head to a taco truck on Rainier Avenue where they will have the option of downing a taco, for time bonus points. Then, it’s further south to another taco truck in Columbia City, and the opportunity for more bonus points. The event concludes with a full-bellied sprint along Lake Washington Boulevard for the after-party and prizes at the Madrona Alehouse.

itchy eyes usually mean allergies, rather than colds (says one who currently is sniffling through some)

btw - 20/20 is the bike shop just down the street from my house (we tried to visit, but they had just closed)

I just went outside in a T-shirt and bare feet.

    Too cold for that.

Hey, I'm gonna put the pop and juice out on the patio since it is about as cold out there as my fridge. (and 2 cases of drinks don't fit in my fridge)

birds are still chirping, but skies are solid gray.

yep, really...I've been having the same these mornings...see, it's s'posed to be Springtime and all, with mild temps, lots of pollen in the air having those seasonal allergies flare up...so, come along, Mimi, bike or not, ok?

yeah, it's gray and pretty cold out for March 29th, so I won't be riding over, but I'll bring my bike just in case the weather improves.

We'll all have plenty o' fun regardless...(although Wahine was a smidge too perky-sounding online earlier!)...
