Wahine - I thought the "H" stood for hubby on that one...

I'm working late tonight so Kit is getting my mtb ready for the journey. I was going to bring the road bike, but Pounce has been aching to get out and play for a while now. Going to stop at the REI store on the way and possibly buy a bike rack that we both actually like and will fit our hitch. (there are apparently only 2 stores anywhere near us that have this one yet. Grrrr.)

    See y'all there.

So, status of my appearance is a little shaky (everything is fine but schedule is hard to figure out), but I'm betting I'll still be there. Knott, I think I still have your #.

It's snowing and raining and cold.

In all likelihood we'll do everything in the apartment, it'll be cozy! No yoga, cuz I completely forgot to bring the yoga stuff home. Bad Knot! Wouldn't be room for it *and* and bike stand *and* a trainer stand indoors, anyway.

    See you hearty souls tomorrow!

Oh we'll do yoga. Even if it's just you and me Mimi. Bring the mat but those of you who don't have one, no worries, you'll still be able to participate if you choose.

I haven't checked the weather but I talked to GLC today and we're still on to meet up and drive together.

    Fun!!

It's not the mat that's the problem, it's that I forgot to bring home the pose pages.

and in all honesty, there simply isn't room in my tiny apartment for yoga and a bike trainer stand and a work stand and 3 kids and 11 adults.

    Darn weather...

Knott - don't worry about anything. We'll have a great time regardless of yoga/no yoga, space/no space.... As long as there's food. There is going to be food right?

ETA : I'm heading off to bed so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow!!

so this bike ride. ... how are we dressing, because (at least here in the willamette valley) it's been sunny and warm for 15 minutes, then hailing and blowing rain for half an hour, then just cold and gloom, wipe, rinse, and repeat. how does one *prepare* for that?! I'm determined not to freeze like I did on the last Seattle ride...

TrickyTiger is leading the bike ride, but she's not sure if/when she'll be there. Bring full rain gear and warm gloves and helmet liner. It's just plain cold. And wet. With frozen bits.

(oh, my poor daffodils and primroses!)

Those of you driving up here, be careful! I've heard the snow south of Seattle was worse.

(we might just end up with food, fitting, mechanics, and TE'ers run amuck!)

    THAT was funny.

God, this weather is SO weird. Watching the snow flakes falling amongst the raindrops as I type....

Have fun, you guys! See you at the next one.

OK - a change of plans (due to weather and allergies and sick teammates) means I'm racing on Sunday, rather than Saturday - so it's last minute, but I can make it. I'll bring all 3 of my bikes in the interest of comparing what differing geometries do to bike fit. (race, rain and TT). PM'ing now!

btw - I can bring 2 trainers and 2 yoga mats (though one has been used a bit as a kitty scratcher....)
